Do you need to write examples for every point in the long q?
I only wrote them where it said 'illustrate' or 'use examples'

    Will I lose marks?

I only put in examples if it says too and I don't lose marks for that, from my teacher at least. I think it should be ok.

Although if one of your points is weak an example can help you get the extra marks, but no I don't think it's necessary.

Well generally with the word "illustrate" it is expected that you put in examples.
However you won't actually know if you needed examples on certain questions until the marking scheme is released, whenever that is.

But if the marking scheme for the examiners states to give examples, then yes, of course you would lose marks.
