Wedding Favourites

My sister is getting married next May and I have been drafted in to make invitations and sort the favourites.
The thing is that I would love to physically see a choice of the boxes rather than ordering on line and they not being what we want.
So can anyone let me know of a shop preferably in Cork, Kerry, Limerick(willing to travel for the right thing) that have a selection?
And as a last resort, a website which one of you has actually ordered from?
    Thanks very much in advance.

Oh and just wondering, do you think both male and female guests should get a favourite, or do the men really care?
    Cheers

Weddings I have been to have had the following favours, which were all very nice.....

Sugared Almonds (wrapped in ribbon and tulle)
Mini Baileys for the ladies, Mini Jack Daniels for the men
    Sweets in a box
    A candle wrapped in tulle

Are these the type of favours you are thinking of?

Sorry other then these I am not much help...however I think favours should be given to both male and female guests......

Hi, I just sent you a pm of a website that my cousin runs. You might get some ideas off that. The other thing you might try is to go to a couple of wedding fairs. I'm not sure if there are any about at the moment but worth a look if you want to see things first hand.

    Good luck!

I know you can get rolos with the couple's name also. A bit tacky but some people like it!!

I think this is the best wedding favours and it is simply perfect to gift for that special moment.

Other then this there are some other wedding favours too like, clear water pearls that simply looks very pretty, mint tins, crystal drop jewelry set that simply looks perfect and best as a present.

    Thanks

I was only thinking about this at the Taste of Dublin the other day.
There was a stall there of a new Irish chocolatiers called Cocoa Atelier, based on Drury Street in Dublin. They're meant to be opening this week or next. http://cocoaatelier.com/ is the website but its not up yet properly it seems. They have little boxes with two DIVINE chocolates in it, for one euro each. Seriously, this chocolate is TO DIE FOR. I don't know how much favours usually are, but for this quality chocolate and presentation, it seemed like a bargain to me. This is truly proper chocolate.
I know its not exactly what you were asking for, and I know they're not close to you, but if I was doing favours I'd be doing this. And I will be recommending it to anybody I know that will be getting married in the future.

there was a wedding years ago, and the mens favours were in a box that was the shape of a tophat with chocolate sweets inside! think the womens were in the shape of a handbag!!

thought it was REALLY clever and the kind of thing you wouldnt forget that easy! also personal to both the man and woman!

I think the OP is just looking for the boxes. I cant help there but you should try www.weddingsonline.ie and you will find more than enough info for everything to do with weddings
