So, PROUDFOOT an originals Band with influences such as Stax/Volt, Stevie Wonder, Temptations and others of that ilk want an experienced Sax player to join us. WE WILL HOWEVER CONSIDER OTHER BRASS MUSICIANS ALSO!

We've been gigging since Jan 2009, mostly in venues such as Whelan's, The Sugar Club, Odessa, Thomas Reid's, deBarra's of Clonakilty. So we are well blooded!
And we have gigs lined up over the next few months.

Our current incumbent is moving to France at the end of August but we are looking to bring someone on board. We need someone who is an experienced player, preferably with a Jazz/Blues/Soul/Funk background (delete as necessary). We need someone who is comfortable reading music and who can "Jam" and solo as needed. You will have the chance to put your own "stamp" on the music that we are trying to create and our current player has agreed to help out with making the new arrival comfortable.

Band members range from early 20's to late 40's

Our myspace page is: http://www.myspace.com/proudfootband and there are some recordings up there for you to listen to.

There is a chance that we wont suit you and there's a chance that you wont suit us, and if thats the case then we all walk away and no harm done. But we'd be interested in seeing if you are a fit.

BTW, we are a Dublin based band and we rehearse in the Jam Factory on James Street on Saturdays (Mostly).

Anyway drop me a mail if you are interested and we will see where this can go!
