    Hi

Can anyone recommend a good hairdresser in Sallins/Naas?

Has anyone any experience with Occasions in Sallins?

I am new to the area, and went to Peter Mark last time, but really wasnt happy with the cut. Usually I always stick with them, the last 3 places I have lives always went to Peter Mark, but have been into the Naas branch twice and just wasnt happy. It is prob just the stylist I got, and maybe if I got someone else it would be grand, just fancy a change!

Can anyone recommend somewhere, have long hair and just want nice layers, wash & blow dry, no colour.

    Thanks!

Caragh is not to far from you, probably closer than Naas, my sister has used this hairdresser since they opened there, my mother has been having hers done there for probably the last year or so, and a friend of the family and her daughter drives down from Dublin to have her hair done regularly. I've just started going and i have to say they are excellent there, way better than any Peter Mark, and really pleasant too

    Hair Angels - Hairdresser

    Unit 4 Chapel Court, Caragh
    Contact: Amanda Lister
    Tel 045-903010

I wonder will i get a discount next time i go for the positive press lo l:D

Thanks a mill for the suggestion, am going to give a call tomorrow and get an appointment! I assume they are around the usual price, similar to Peter Mark?

I can't tell you offhand what i paid the last few times(i've a terrible memory lol) but they were quite a bit cheaper than Peter mark. TBH I keep going back because they're so nice there, you don't feel rushed, and the stylists seem to really listen to what you want, The last time i used Peter Mark, i found i wasn't really getting the cut i wanted, and they seem to have increased their prices! I'm grey as a badger, and need to colour my hair every 3 weeks or so, and i just couldn't afford to keep going back, so Hair Angels is a godsend to me!!

Thanks a mill for the advice, called them today and they seem very friendly, got an appointment for tomorrow evening. I too find that with Peter Mark, no matter what you ask them to do, you always come out with the same boring style!

also live in sallins and i have used occasions since they opened and i find them brilliant - they do a lovely colour and cut it the way i want (previously went to t&g and they decided to do it the way they wanted! haven't been back since)

occasions are always doing offers mon-thurs so you should keep an eye out

Its probably a bit too far from you but I have recommended Khaki in Tallaght to quite a few people who have been more than happy with the service there. I love the place

There was a place in the Kilashee (spelling?) House in Naas a few years back, no idea if it is still there but I was there for a function once, had my hair done and was very happy. I think it was quite pricey though if memory serves me correct ( it was during the "boom" though)

Hello, well I have to report back that Hair Angels in Caragh is great! Really nice salon, all the staff are really really friendly, and the cut was brill! The hairdresser really listened to what I wanted, and spent time getting it right. Got really love layers, so happy with it, and nice blowdry straight. It was €40 so very reasonable, I will def be going back - recommend it to everyone! They also have a beauty salon & holistic treatments. Nice to finally find a nice salon!

Thanks a mill for the recommendation shinikin! Thanks for the other recommendations too by the way, but think I am hooked on this one!

Hi just want to say have also been going to occasions in sallins on a regular basis. I get my hair colour done from Kieran - really friendly chap who is just lovely to deal with. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my hair....he talks you through everything and knows his stuff. If you're thinking of a change in style/colour - he's your man!Staff are lovely and I always come away feeling pampered and happy with my hair. hope this helps.
