I did it this year. It was the first year of the course. Definitely picked up a lot of useful skills.

As we were guinea pigs, there was a few modules this year that were completely irrelevant and I know they won't be on the syllabus next year. Also there were one or two badly organised modules which should be taken care of next year.

If you're coming from a biology background don't expect any biology modules. You'll be doing maths, statistics and computer programming. The idea of computer programming if you haven't done it before might worry you but it's actually fine. None of us had any experience and we picked it up handy enough.

This is the course website. If you have any questions fire away and i'll do my best to answer them.

Cheers for the reply.I was just wondering how long did it take them to get back to you last year with an offer for the course? The closing date was the 1st of July, I'm checking my PAC account everyday with no decision as of yet.

I don't think I heard back until the end of July. The course coordinator is on holidays at the moment anyway.

No need to check, the PAC emails you when your application status changes so relax :)

Still no word yet about when any decisions on acceptance will be made. Is there anybody here who has applied for this course or is currently enrolled in this course that has any info on when the PAC status will change?
