ITV HD on Sky channel 178?but not in NI?

    Sorry if this has been discussed before ,but I am told Sky are transmitting ITV HD on Sky channel 178 in England.Why not in NI.?
    If this is the case is UTV involved?

    ITV do not have the channel 3 licence in Northern Ireland, UTV do. UTV have not launched a HD service yet, there are talks on other boards that they will be eventually.

    This page explains who holds the channel 3 licence for which area:

    ITV HD can be added manually to the Other Channels section using the following details:

    10832.00
    H
    22000
    5/6

    Thanks for the info,naive of me to think I would get the same service for the same subscription, Thanks also for what are for me new freqs for ITV HD,I was using 11.428 etc.
