Gurrier?

Thankfully, the very rough element of gaelic football has been toned down to more acceptable,if still unneccessary tactics. It is specially sad to see a gifted footballer resort to gurrierism.I believe an incident towards the end of the Cork vs Kerry match last Sunday highlighted this.No action was taken by the referee at the time but he has been asked to have a look at the video.Unfortunately,Kerry football is built on "win at all costs"and that is why a man, despite his skill, should be told in no uncertain terms that despite his talent, there is no place for him on one of the best teams in the country.Leeds had the same policy in the 70's and look where they are today so come on Kerry, let the country praise your skill and not mock you for your head in the sand attitude.

    Like thatll happen.

O Connor came out and said he didnt expect Galvin to get any punishment.
And they didnt bother to take any action after a certain book was released either.

if anybody else did it, it would not even be mentioned once. much worse happened in the game and all season, yet cos its him, people need something to complain about.

i doubt cadagen even has a problem with it. anyway, this has been discussed to the death at this stage, on another thread.

This thread is an absolute train wreck in the making which is why I'm locking it. The match thread is the place to discuss specific incidents in Sunday's game.
