    Hi,
Flying in July, my wife (both 34 )from Ireland (doesn't matter where in Ireland), me from Frankfurt (either airport), both of us back to Ireland.
We were planning on Barcelona but flights are costing €550 about.

Can anyone suggest a different destination (just a weekend break (from the kids) with sun, relaxing, stroll around, sit outside have a beer etc.

Not Paris as we were there last holiday. Or Lubeck
    cheers,
    Pa

Nice is nice,;) and Aer Lingus and Ryanair both fly there from Dublin. And it may be doable on a train from Frankfurt.

Or if you don't want France again, Dubrovnik is cool for a couple of days. Its very small but loads of day trips you can take if you get bored. Food is good, and loads little bars. Not the place to go for nightclubs though. Well worth a visit.

Don't know about what airlines fly from frankfurt. I think ryanair fly to Malaga from hahn.

Lufthansa fly to Nice from Frankfurt so it ticks all your boxes, OP!

Great spot, plenty to see and do.
