Help with Abelton Live 8

I'm not sure if this is the right place for it, but oh well. :/
I got myself a copy of Abelton Live 8 about 2 months ago. But at the time, I was swamped with college work so I didn't get much of a chance to look into it to much. Now that I'm off for the summer, I'm really wanting to get working on some industrial-esque stuff. But the program is confusing me quite a bit. :/ Anyone know of any noob guides to Live 8? I've done searches myself, and all of them seem to require some experience with Live 8 already. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! :D

This might sound stupid and annoying but if you can hack it, try reading a bit of the manual... I know Ableton's is very comprehensive (and also quite boring) but it's a good place to start!

Don't really use it much myself any more as I have Logic but Youtube is a good place to look for some basic tutorials on how to do various things

See, the problem is, I don't think I have the manual any more, if ever. :/ Youtube was the first place I looked for tutorials too. Most seem to assume that you've got some experience with it.

Edit: Just did some rummaging through the program files and I seem to have found what appears to be a manual... But in Spanish. <_< Gonna keep digging, hopefully I'll track something down, otherwise I'll see if I can get one off the website.

Indeed. if you're around on Fri night swing by and say hello. There will be plenty of folks including myself (miXile) who'd be happy to do a quick tour of the interface with you.

Also, you can't go wrong by checking out Tom Cosm's tutorials and free sets:
http://www.cosm.co.nz/ . The genres may not be entirely to your taste but Tom is a legend.

has anyone got any links to a good tutorial on warping tracks, im an absolute beginner, ive tried it once before but failed drastically, so i just gave up, with the intention of going back to it when i had more time, i think im finally ready to get stuck in.

ill check through the above links, but if anyone can think of one specifically on warping it would be very much appreciated.

just had a look, and there seems to be some on the tom cosm site

There are a few different ways to do it... I think I posted a guide on this forum before so I'll try to see if I can find it - have used it for years and has worked a charm.
