Didn't think I'd be saying this from 99-02, but unfortunately we'll most probably win it again, because it's such a poor championship and it's going to leave us ill-prepared for the real stuff. Hopefully Meath can give us a really tough game that will prepare us for the later stages, but lets just say that we won't be starting bonfires around town if we do win it.

On a side note, it would be good for Louth to get to a Leinster final, good to see new teams coming through.

    Dublin

After witnessing both games live on Sunday in Croker, I think this will probably be the most open Leinster championship in years. Dublin are no great shakes, nor anybody else for that matter. Louth could surprise a few people and win the title.

It's really hard to see beyond Dublin. Everyone says that they're pretty average (and in the context of the All-Ireland they're probably right) but they still beat Wexford reasonably comfortably in the end while being 6 points down at half time and a man down for a good portion of the second half.

Being a Kildare man I'm interested to see how Louth do the next day though!

I'd say Louth might just do it this year...

great to see them win it. With a performance like that against Kildare it's very possible.

Agreed. I think its very open. From what i saw of Laois/Meath, neither seemed to be a huge threat to the rest. Dublin were god-awful for about 55mins of the game but came to life towards the end of normal time. Out of the teams left Louth have actually looked strongest even tho Kildare played pretty badly against them. Still think the winner will come from Dublin v Meath/Laois but i wouldnt be hugely surprised to see Louth take it. Dont think they will be it wouldnt be a shock if they did.

Hard to see anyone other than Kildare winning this, oh wait..... :D

Wexford should have had Dublin in Wexford Park on Sunday if right was right, but they didnt and Dublin get off the hook.

Apart from the fact that all provincial quarter finals go to extra time, Croke Park is a neutral venue.
