    Is it true you can get the BTEA without waiting if you were made redundant?

    yeah if you have recieved a redundancy payment your entitled to BTEA without having to wait the 9 months

    Im not being made redundant but going back to college in september. Is it worth asking the boss to lay me off to get the BTEA?

    no because you have to recieve a redundancy payment and have the forms to prove it, somehow i cant imagine your boss will pay you to leave
