One of the best I found Bazz is Jamie Oliver's deep fried Bunnies.
Boil the joints in a nice stock for about 1 hour untill meat is loose on the bone, drain and allow to dry off, coat in flour, then beaten egg then seasoned bread crumb (any herbs you like) rosemary & sage is nice, then deep fry untill golden. Serve with chunks of lemon.
Try it and I promise you'll thank me for it, a bit of work but so worth it.
    Spannerman :)
Then there is Hugh FW's bunnie burgers, yum

No danger to humans as far as i know!
The reason why people don't eat rabbits with the myxi is that theyre in very poor shape, the longer they have it, the worse they get!

So a rabbit with the myxi probably wouldn't taste very nice because of its poor condition!

If a rabbit looks healthy, clear eyes, good coat, not skinny looking, then its very safe to eat, and probably the tastiest free food you can get!;)
