    Folks,

    There are a couple of events coming up on June 19th @ Hilltop Shooting Club that may be of interest to yourselves or others.

    NASRPC : Women on Target
    NASRPC are holding a 'Women on Target' Clinic in Hilltop Shooting Club on June 19th.

    This is an initiative to encourage more women to take part in the target shooting sports.
    We are thankful to the Irish Sports Councils, 'Women in Sport' Programme for also promoting the event.

    It is important that this event is a success so please make sure to pass it on to anyone who you feel may be interested in taking part.
    If the demand is there we will look to hold further clinics, in other disciplines and in other areas of the country in the future.

    Club Shoot @ Hilltop
    Hilltop Shooting Club are holding a club shoot and Summer BBQ on June 19th also.

    The Competition will include Shotgun, Rifle & Pistol events and is an Open competition so all are welcome.

    There will be opportunities available for novices also. Contact the club for more information.

    Once the competitions and courses are finished ~16:30 there will be a BBQ.
    If you are planning to attend please be sure to contact Hilltop to let them know so they can be sufficiently prepared..

    This should provide a good opportunity for everyone, old and new, to have a good day out.

    Note from Mrs Backstop ...

    I was lucky enough to get onto this introduction course this morning in Hilltop and cannot thank everyone enough for a wonderful day!

    The whole format, from the class based presentations to the hands on training and instruction was absolutely first class, and the shooting itself was a great experience. Thank you to Hilltop for hosting and apologies for skipping out before the bbq.

    I would highly recommend this introduction to any of the ladies reading this ... and gents, please encourage your other halves to sign up.

    Thanks to the two Declans, Pat, Keith and the rest of the crew for making it so interesting and informative. I look forward to seeing you all again soon.
