Comprehensive health check

Have recently reached the big 40 and have decided to have a good MOT.
Am in good health with no problems but want a good once over and then I plan to get checked up once a year or so.

Anyone had one of those executive check ups like the one offered by www.icim.ie in Naas? Are they worth it? Check up at GP always seems to casual and not thorough enough.

    All comments welcome!

Well I had a full check last year at Dublin Health Screening the whole works, and found them to be fine. I had the whole range of tests done, and it only cost me 180 euro. That was a special they were offering last year, but it's worth the price of a phone call to see if they are still doing the same deal. Edit: Looking at the site, I think they're still doing the same, so give them a call.

Or spend a few minutes on Google looking at results for executive health screening, then go back to compare the prices that the icim.ie are quoting.

Anyway, whoever you choose good luck with it, and I hope your results come out well.

I get my checkups with my GP. I both like and trust my GP and I think the continunity is seeing the same person for every checkup is invaluable.

Your obviously lucky to have found a good doctor. I dropped the doctoer I had been seeing after he told me "Well, you'll be happy to know you're the worst patient I've seen today".
