    Hi Guys,

I have my connection set as Nat 1 on my PS3 at the moment, am i right in saying that I will not be able to use the media server option while that is the setting, or can i just turn on the Media Server Option.

Play a lot of MW2 online and don't wanna banjax the settings, any help is appreciated. :)

I have to keep swapping between Nat 1 for MW2 and twonkey media

If there's a fix I'd love to hear it :)

    Gah!
I feared manual intervention was your only man, that or transcode my video library onto a portable USB HD.

    your goosed!

NAT1 means you are directly connected to your service provider, just like your router - so no access to your media server unless you route it out to everyone on the internet..

You'ld need to get your PS3 on NAT2 to get it to connect.

What router / service provider do you have?

Netopia from Eircom, but switched to Vodafone a while back, keeping the modem.
If i could get to Nat 2, that'd be grand.
Its easy enough to switch from 1 to 3 though, just a pity the PS3 don't store your settings
