It's in WestSide, over Lidl (or is it Aldi??) Which ever one is beside world of wonder. I think there may be another office out the other side of the city. It depends where you are living as to which office nad CWO you need to contact. Plus, be prepared to wait a long time for any money, they like to send you off looking for different documents every time you go in there! Just when you think you have sent in everything they need to process your application, they come up with something else that they require!!!!! GRRrrrr...

I'm not sure if moving this was a good idea, Biko.

CWOs are dotted at all sort of places - eg there are two, in two different buildings in Merchants Rd, who deal with different areas. You need to see the right one for your address. Welfare are (apparently) the only ones who can tell you which one you need to see, though there are signs up on the doors saying what streets/estates they cover.

Give us some idea of your address, and someone may be able to help.

And they each have clinic hours: eg for one in Merchants Rd the hours are Wed and Thurs 10am-noon. So if you miss Thurs, you have to wait 'til next Wed. (Yes they are working for the rest of the week: a significant bit of the job involves home visits).

Another question if anyone would know, Im living in a 2 bed flat, the second bedroom has been vacant since I moved in and dont think the landlord has any intention of getting someone in it....am I considered a single person living by themselves or because of the spare room a single person in shared accommodation???
