Manually tune an ancient tv . . .

    Have an ancient black and white 5.5inch screen tv that i'm trying to watch the world cup on while at work. However it needs to be manually tuned, and I can't find the stations with it. Anyone know which UHF band to use and how to gte rte 2 on it? Thanks!!!

    Where you are (Kilkenny city/ most of Kilkenny county?) it would be at VHF Band 3 (or III) AKA 'VHF-Hi' not UHF

    Try it out at a window facing Mt Leinster

    BTW The tuner in those things is usually very poor, especially at UHF
