Some gee bag stroked my racebike a couple of months ago . Motocross.

I cant afford a bike right now but have a big void to fill.

I seen a lad windsurfing on blessington lake. I thought to myself.

"that looks like a bit of craic".

    so here I am.

asking for a bit of advise. I seen cheap boards and bit on ebay .

how does one get started in the sport.

Lessons are essential. If you can get a good deal, hire before you buy as you'll want to switch down board sizes pretty quickly if you make any sort of reasonable progress. Otherwise buy used gear. There's a fairly good 2nd hand gear market in Ireland. Don't sail alone, on the open sea or in an offshore wind til you have some experience. Best of luck and have fun.
