Can't wait to see this one.Looks like my type of film.
Black Death is spooky, grim, impressive: Bergman eat your heart out.
There aren’t many British horror films you could call Bergmanesque with even slim justification, but Christopher Smith’s Black Death is out of the ordinary. This stark and often brutal movie lives under a cloud of foreboding, as if waiting out the bad news, close to Ingmar’s heart, that we live in a godless world. The opening caption – The Year of Our Lord, 1348 – announces its bleak ironies: if this pestilent year, which brought the bubonic plague on Europe, truly belonged to God, was He an absentee landlord or just a sadist?

Looks epic. Will defo be looking to see this when it's released. Sean Bean is a huge plus too; excellent actor who brings so much to all the roles he plays.

Reviews have been favourable for this, not a great film but certainly not a bad one.

And who could resist Sean Bean in a medieval flick, he was born for them.

I thought i was alone with my love for Sean Bean(in a totally manly way) I always think its such a shame when hes put out of movies which seems to happen with worrying frequency.

Criminally underused, under-respected actor i feel.

decent enough, nothing special i thought. Can see why critics liked it. Good constant twists towards the end and is definitely a bit of a shocker. Surprised that it got a 15A rating as it's fairly gory.

    Pretty decent movie.

Sean Bean is the nuts. In fact all the actors were decent.

Can't believe the monk guy is a model in rl, he looked exactly like a young monk!

That trailer is a mess! Doesn't really make me want to see this movie at all! And I'm a fan of Sean Bean.

Recognized the monk from Pillars of the Earth

Good film, nothing special but worth watching

There is no way this should be just a 15A film!
