Stimulus or Resurgence?

Hi, I just got 2000 MS points and have the choice between Stimulus and Resurgence.
Any Opinions on which is better?
I like Big maps with plenty of vantages but I like a good village type shootout too. Which is more playable online and whats favoured by the rest of the people i.e Which is played more?

On the basis of what you want, I'd say Resurgence, but that's just my own experience.

However, I rather the COD4 maps from Stimulus as while Vacant is great, some game types are atrocious on it.

Personally i prefer stimu pack, better maps that give both good sniping points (although I dont snipe) and at the same time good cqc / mid range firefights.

Personally i'd beg, borrow, or steal 400 more MS points and get both..:D but if your only getting one of them, I.M.H.O. get the Resurgence pack..

Have to say I enjoyed Stimulus much more, but I think thats because of the amount that I played them. Havent been enjoying Resurgence as much, Fuel too big, Trailer Park and Carnival promote camping and Vacant and Strike aren't as fun as they were in COD4

I think when a new map pack comes out their seems to be an increase in camping/noobtubing while people learn the maps.It tends to return to 'normal' level's after a week or two

I'd go for stimulas if you only have the option for 1 .
Trailer park is a disaster , badly laid out rushed map.
Carnival is ok
Fuel is good for ground war period
Vacant is stupidly easy to dominate.
Strike is better than i remember (probably because the other maps arent up to scratch.)

From what ive seen and heard, the Resurgence pack is better. The 3 new maps on Stimulus aren't that great tbh

I got both and much prefer the stimulus pack.

Maybe in time i'll take to the resurgence maps but not at the moment

I have the game on PC, I'm going to hold out on the outside chance that someone will do a special for both map packs. I know, it's not likely in the near future, but a man can dream.

resurgence in my opinion is dreadfull , I will never buy another map pack really feel ripped of with this one.:mad:

Buy neither and get a fair few Live Arcade games as some of them are going very cheap (about 400 points) right now.

€15 for three new maps and two copy/paste jobs, whichever pack you choose, is still a rip-off.

Agreed, totally not worth it unless you have more money than sense

I learned that lesson after stimulus :rolleyes: waste of money.

I would just wait for them to be sold in a bundle since paying €13 for 3 new maps and 2 old maps is a complete rip off :mad:

Well fortunately for i do have more money than sense. Over all i think carnival is the best out of all the new maps but stimulas is the better map pack

Yeah, €15 on 5 extra maps (note I didn't say new!), most of which are good fun. Ripoff?? I'm sure everyone here will happily spend about the same as that or more, on 4 pints and yet I reckon I get more value from the hours of gameplay.

Yeah.
If you only play the game a few hours a week then its a rip-off. If you play it for hours everyday and are bored of the current maps then its hardly a rip-off. Plus if your on ps3 you can get them for free easily;)
