Labtec Wireless Optical Mouse for Notebooks Installation

    I'm hoping someone can help me, I recently bought a Labtec Wireless Optical Mouse for Notebooks which has a small USB reciever. I have been unable to use it on my Dell Laptop as it does not seem to recognise it has been plugged in so I cannot install new hardware.

    I tried the Labtecwebsite to see if I needed to download any software but for this particular mouse it said to use the computers native drivers, but the computer cannot find the Usb reciever or the mouse.

    CAn somebody please tell me if I'm doing something wrong or if I'm missing something.
