    Hey,

    Ive got a mad craving for pop tarts guys, anyone know where you can get them in galway? I haven't seen them in a long time

    Dunnes have strawberry ones. I saw them in there earlier.

    Maybe check supermarkets before doing an online hunt.. pop tarts aren't exactly unavailable...cereal aisle, in Dunnes (all), Tesco and Supervalu.

    Most supermarkets sell the Strawberry ones, which aren't very nice. Dunnes sold the chocolate ones until recently which were very nice and used to sell the choco-mallow ones a few years ago, they were amazing!

    We got some of those toaster pockets for toasted sambos in Aldi, think I'll make one with jam now after reading this thread.

    Pop tarts are molten mush wrapped in sawdust.

    Toast + honey and/or nutella with a 'gún of tae
    The housemate got some, I don't trust anything that looks like plastic being heated around food.
    There's the grill or the dedicated sandwich toaster, or in a pinch the GeorgeForeman if you want a little meatier taste.

    Thanks to anyone who posted helpful info, had them there during the week and I enjoyed every bit as much as I thought I would. Didnt feel the best after a while tho so dont think eating them is going to be a regular thing for me

    Well i was only a youngin in the eighties but I have had a few tarts in my time, none as tasty as these tho:)
