TV Catchup via VPN

Not trying to drag up what we all know is an really old topic but...

Has anyone managed to get TV Catchup working on the iPhone over here yet? Even using a VPN or Proxy? :rolleyes:

Have it working on the iPad with a VPN so should be the same for the iPhone I presume?

I'm using blackvpn. No problems at all with them. It's €5 a month for either the USA or the UK or €10 a month for a worldwide pass. If you use this codeBUVWXBF you will get three months for the price of one and I'll get an extra two weeks free.

Got it just now, cool service and bargin too.... very glitchy at the moment tho.

Hoping its just down to the time of week it is.

Just a little warning, tvcatchup may not last long over vpn on the iphones. It is currently in beta and they don't seem to be filtering IP's. If you use the same VPN IP over your PC, you will see that it is most likely banned due to licensing. Hopefully this beta will be a long one

I'm pretty sure they are filtering IPs otherwise we wouldn't need to use VPN?

I did hers though that there is a legal challenge pending against them from some of the channels, so that may ultimately be there downfall.

I turn on uk VPN, then go to tvcatchup website, then signup and then it tells me my country is not supported.

Weird one. I'll double check to make sure mines still working.

Obvious, but I'll ask all the same, awe you sure younger using your UK VPN, if you have multiple VPN accounts?

Yep, using the uk VPN. Think I'll clear safari cache and see if that helps.
