Hi, we fly to the algarve at the end of jully with ryanair and noticed on one of our surnames that there is an extra l. I am wondering will this matter. I have tryed ringing ryanair on numerous occasions but keep getting an engagged tone. Any suggestions, is it possible to get one of there phone numbers for there desks in the airport

Ryanair staff usually spend a total of 0.0001 seconds looking at your booking. Extremly unlikely that they will notice an extra I on one of the bookings. Costs something like a hundrad quid to ring them and change a name on a booking I think

Nah you should be fine. I booked 2 different flights recently, one using my full Christian name, the other booked with the abbreviation of that which my family know me as. This is not on my passport. When I rang them, they said it was no problem and wouldnt matter. You'd be surprised the things that go under the radar.

True. but if you were 0.0001 kg over your baggage weight you'd know all about it!!!!

Not when it's just a matter of a wrong letter. They'll normally do that for nothing. OP, aren't they closed on Sunday? Try calling during the week. While it's unlikely it'll matter, there is always the chance you'll get one agent who insists on the name matching.
