Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

St Bernard not eating properly

We have a 5 year old St Bernard that has not been eating properly for the past month. We have changed his food, taken the food away from him during the day, stopped giving any kind of treats but he simply does not eat his nuts. The nuts we feed him are Eukanuba, which we suspect are one of the best on the market.

Any tips on how to make him eat?

What was the reason you changed his food ?? Dogs arent usually fussy we make them that way have you checked his mouth maybe he is sore, what is his form like maybe he needs to go to the vet...If you tink he is ok maybe you could try mixing a small amount of tuna for example thru it it mite make him eat it..let us know how you go;)

Have you had him at the vets for a check up? Is he eating anything else for you, like meat etc?

If hes off food completely then there could be something wrong with him so a vet trip is a must to rule out a medical reason why hes off his food.

If hes just being fussy then thats different. Have you tried switching foods completely? Maybe try another brand altogether, he just might not like the Eukanuba.
