Make sure you know your nutritive values and composition of food. Composition has come up this last 2 years for fish and meat and may come up again and if it does they are looking for %. If your answering nutritive value about food put in as much detail about each nutrient as possible.

I wouldn't start trying to prediect the questions as even if it doesn't come up in long questions the short questions cover a multitude so don't cut too much out.

I have no idea as it was a long time ago. I teach home economics so well used to looking at the paper and seeing the trends. 94% is an excellent mark and hopefully your cookery and option work went well too. But please remember that just cause you got an A in the mock doesn't mean your guaranteed it in the Junior Cert. But hopefully you will get it.

    Q3 - Digestion
    Q4 - Consumer studies
    Q5 - The Environment
Q6 - Either cotton or the sewing machine

Doesn't "evaluate the nutritional value of...?" come up ever year for Question 1 (so you'll have to know your food groups).

Then there's usually a question on consumer studies, social studies and resource management along with textile studies (on question 6).

They attempt to ask you questions from every aspect of the course.
I found alot of it to be common sense though.
Except for maybe the textile studies or some parts of the consumer studies.

mm, annoyed that a consumer question didn't come up. Totally messed up one of the four of the question choices, rest of the test was pretty chill.
