Yes there's two groups go out in drogheda. One group goes out at no specific time think it's more when they're all available they'll go out then there's another group goes out sunday mornings every sunday from the bike shop.

the bike shop group leaves most times at 9..30 but i think they go out a bit earler this time of year maybe 9 at bottom of mary st, but you need to check this they average about 15mph usually cover between 40 and 50 miles on sundays .the other group is all but broke up now to many speed merchants in it (look how fast i can go)
if your looking to get out you can pm me and i'll put you in contact with the bikeshop group there all in there 50s .

They seemed to be a mix of ages and there were a couple of girls in the group. Not really looking for a group at the moment as i can't commit to every weekend, due to work and dubs matches. But maybe in the future. Thanks for all the replies

Not sure which group your on about, think your on about the older, slower group by the sounds of things, i'm not sure when they go out could be 9 am not sure.

I go out with a 9.30 group we average 100-110km this time of yr and average speed is usually around 28-30 kph depending on which route we take, all are welcome :)

Do you know if these are just the lads that work in Quay Cycles and a few of their mates? Or is it a proper club? The fact that it's not too high an average speed is quite appealing. My average kinda stats at the minute are 35km at about 25-26km/hour. I'd love to start increasing distance though.

No bother. I thought it might be the owner and his father. Not to worry.
