I can't stand dutch house. I completely dismiss any DJ who is still playing the likes of Stickin' and Moombah.

    totally agree.

i dont call it music.its the lowest form of dance music around.

i used to like afrojack but hes seriouslty taking the piss with his prodcutions now.

an obnoxious lead synth that pitch shifts all over the pace on top of a marching beat looped for 2 hours

    you should be ashamed

    Huh? Links/youtube?

This tune is pretty standard dutch house, and it's been rinsed to death.

Basically all of dutch house over the last 2 years has just been a bad imitation of Major Lazer - Pon De Floor, and Afrojack is the worst for it, apart from Pacha On Acid, all his tunes recently have sounded exactly the same.

mmmh... jumping to conclusions are we?
Would it be shameful to listen to this,

    This,

    maybe this,

    Or this?

He may make s**t tracks are chuckie, but i still give this set a 10/10:D

I'm partial to a bit of shame myself. Is there anywhere i can get a scarlet glowstick so that everyone knows not to associate with me?

That SonicC track linked above is literally one of the worst tracks I've ever heard. All that Afrojack stuff is complete shiite aswell. How people listen to this moronic stuff is beyond me.

I think we are getting carried away here, i just thought id like to let people know that the chuckie essential mix (tech/pro house & techno and none of this dutch house s**t) was worth a listen.
Its mad how people can just be tunnel visioned:eek: be seeing a word, ie dutch, and go off track. That dutch house is rubbish, the chuckie mix has no rubbish!

Well no, but describing it as
Chuckie's "king of dirty dutch" Radio1 essential mix

rings a few alarm bells in fairness. Some top quality stuff there though.

just like to say i did listen to(well flicked through the songs)

yep not typical dutch house but its ****eyour entitled to your opinion

Ah some this is can be alright in small doses.

I remember seein Grove Armada and they played a couple of similar tracks that went down a treat; think one was Pon de Floor.

Never heard of this before, the Dutch are usually fairly clued up when it comes to House,Defected put on a big marquee at the Dance Valley festival with DJ's like Sneak and ATFC,etc and it looks brilliant and it's packed too, I've been to Escape before in the dam and it was quaity house in 1 of the rooms, like anywhere you;ll get good and bad.

Whoa there, sorry that it aint musical genius. This is not a hardcore forum and every one likes diff stuff. I like dutch stuff but know it aint the bees knees. Its some thing to bop your head to in the car.

Stop trying to baffle people that arent into production. I understand what you said though.

its not really like that johnny.

its just a style of what id losely call music that every ****er with a pitch bend knob in there DAW makes it.

nothing about the dutch really.probably got the name because some dutch producers first made it.

im not baffling people.everyone knows what a lead guitar is so every dj knows what a lead synth is.

and everyone knows what a marching drum line is too.

yes we all have different opinions, shouldnt we be allowed voice them?

There are some odd exceptions, but from my experience Dutch people are generally bell ends
