Will Tevez start? He's probably their fourth best striker.. Don't fancy him to score in this World Cup at all.

Argentina to win this 2-0. Huguain to score.

    edit: tevez does start:

    Romero
    Demichelis
    Heinze
    Samuel
    Mascherano
    Veron
    Di Maria
    Gutierrez
    Messi
    Tevez
    Higuain

    Orange pilled.

He is starting. I don't bet til I've seen the teams ;)

A front three of him, Higuain and Messi could run riot.

I'm on Argentina -1 in this game. Part of a double with Korea to beat Greece which is in the bag. I know Maradona is a ****e manager but the squad have been together for a while now training and playing a few friendlies. And i think that will make them gel more than getting together every few months for the qualifying campaign. I think they will do a lot better than people are expecting. Too much talent in the team for them not to.

Have Higuain to score 1st and also Higuain to score 2 or more goals.

Most under-rated player on the planet.

scorecast, tevez first scorer, 2-0 win? 20/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,767 ✭✭✭el diablo

Gutierez in defence is dodgy for me. How can a championship player get into this team?

Zanetti or Cambiasso can't get into the team and Milito is far superior to headless chicken Tevez. I'm still backing Argentina but I'm not convinced.:P

    Orange pilled.

Just feel there will be a lot of goals in this game, Higuain should give ****tu the run around and the supply from Tevez ,Messi, Di maria, Veron ( if he's still got it) should see lots of chances for him. Afican teams dont seem upto much from what i saw at the afican Nations... So heres hoping :)

Lol he scored 29 goals for City last year! (sorry I'm a City fan,I have to defend him!)

Im gonna have some of that considering both teams prefer to attack and that argentina line up is ridicolous... what an attack and they can even leave Milito on the bench:eek:

EDIT: I actually went for over 3.5 goals @ 2/1 and both teams to score @ evens

Maybe so but Milito is far superior. No goals for Tevez in this WC.

    Orange pilled.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

That's 5 goals in the WC so far and i don't think any forwards or strikers have scored. I know defenders have 3 of those goals anyways.

Argentina are just keeping the ball now, going no where with it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,591 ✭✭✭✭Aidric

I've backed Nigeria to score next @ 11/4. Argentina haven't really kicked on since the goal and Nigeria are getting ball in to the danger areas.

Yeah it's only been around 3/1 on PP. At 5/1 that would be well worth a few bob.

How this game had only 1 goal is unbelievable. Only for that Nigerian keeper Messi alone could have had about 3.

Ya I took 9/2 for Messi to get the second which he would have done had he been wearing a Barca shirt!

That keeper looks to have cost alot of people money today so and not just me.
