    I'm trying to convert a word doc to pdf format but I'm losing some of my text in doing so. Also, the word doc is smaller than A4, I have adjusted the paper size, but it's coming out as full A4 size in PDF. Can anyone help?

    How are you converting?

    I've tried printing to a pdf using PrimoPDF programme and I've tried using a free convertor online. The free online tool just produces the entire document in a different font. I also tried Tweakpdf but get the same problem as with PrimoPDF.

    It's a big download but in Open Office you can just click
    file -> export as pdf... -> export

    Primo should work fine, but you also need to set the page size in the print dialogue, I can't remember where exactly, sorry.

    Microsoft also have a PDF add on for Word 2007, search their site for it.

    Here it is;

    cutepdf is excellent

    pdfcreator is one that also allows to password protect the PDF. Give them a go.
