The Arnotts sale is kicking of next Wednesday (the 16th) at 9am. For Arnotts card holders there is an extra 10% off.

Was in there last week and the sports section has gotten really small, so not sure how much there are going to have on sale but in the past it has been good. Hopefully they will be doing a deal on Asics. Does anyone know the difference between the gold and red Kayanos 16? Is it mens and womens versions.

Look at the arnotts site it appears the white/gold are the ladies and the balck/gold are the mens. Don't see any red ones in that style.
    Do Arnotts stock Mizuno?

    Do Arnotts stock Mizuno?

    Or Brooks?

I think they only stock asics. They used to have a great range of brands but now its very small.

I've definitely seen some Brooks in there over the last few months, but only a very small amount. No memory of ever seeing Mizuno in there...

They've really cut back on their sport sections, pity cos it used to be a great place to get stuff. Still some running gear there but not as big a range as previously.

They've a few New Balance shoes too at the moment, not many styles though.

Does this start tomorrow or Thursday. I'm sure I just heard a ad on the radio saying the sale starts 9am Thursday, up to 50% of.

I am Arnotts card holder and it says it starts tomorrow at 9am from the mailshot I got. I would guess that the shop is open to anyone but the card holders would get an extra ten percent if you purchase with your card. In the past they used to open the night before for the cardholders, but not this year.

I was in on Sunday and was told that they have two versions of the Kayano 16's for Men, the Gold and black is last years versions and sell for €140 and the red is this years versions and sells for €150.

Normally it is nearly half price, but not so sure this year they may have more of the older version. The sports section is quite small now, so not sure if it will be as good as previous years but there should be some bargins (hopefully)

There's not too much in their sale, went in this morning. Womens ranges are VERY limited, mostly small sizes available and not a size 7 to be seen :pac:
2150s are €77, Kayano 16's are just over €100, can't remember other prices offhand.

Disappointing sale. 30% off on a limited selection of shoes as rainbow kirby said. I was just going to say that i got a pair of 1150s for €60something, but when i looked at the receipt to see what that something was, i realised that they never took the discount off, so i've paid the full €95 :(.

A bigger range of brands this year but no real bargains. 30% off but from a high starting price. Got a pair of 2150's for €77, not great compared to online.

any new reports? Think it gets cheaper as it goes on.. or am I mistaken? Got 1130s in 2008 for €47.50, 50% off - would love to repeat that!

Wandered through on Sunday evening on way home from Croke Park, no intentions of buying anything. But unfortunately for my credit card I spotted a pair of Nimbus in the correct size - I find it hard to get half sizes in Dublin - and they were bought on the spot... No extra discounts though, still 30%, selection significantly smaller than previous years.
