More info please? Like what area are you trying to receive DTT in? What equipment are you using? What sort of aerial? What does "signal strength 3070" mean exactly? Most set top boxes just have a scale from 0 to 100% or else a bar which indicates e.g. 50% when the bar is half full.

hi i live in galway. i have aerial in attic pointing to maghera i think? i cannot find a way of checking signal levels with the software supplied with my hauppage usb dtt tuner. there is a hauupage program (scanchannelsdpa) i got
on net which i used which scan frequencies and then when it detecs the dtt it gives that number and then a percentage for quality. i got the number to -8000 for signal strength and 100 percent for quality. when i ran another section of the program it gave two 100 percent bars for strength and quality from what i remember. just wondered if anyone knew what the numbers for strength meant and if it was good?
