Trying to Remember the Words for an Irish Song I Learned in School

    Does anyone have the words for this Irish song I learned it in primary school, please excure my spelling.

    Trop, Trop a caphaill (horse) are on bothair

    ring any bells?

    Basically its about a horse

    Trop,trop an chapaillín ar an mbothar...yeah I remember it but that line is all I can recall. My oh sang it one night when he was jarred but can't remember the words now either.:(

    tiochaimid abhaile in am don tae


    Excuse any mistakes in my Irish, and I can't remember the end of the middle two lines. I'm sure my kids sing it, maybe I should ask them.
