Help in Research for Thesis

Hi All,

I am a student of the Masters of Business in Accounting, currently in the middle of writing dissertation titled ‘A comparative analysis of the accounting education at the undergraduate level in Poland and Ireland’. I’m focusing on conducting a content analysis of the examinations in regards to the accounting-related subjects at the higher education institutions in both countries. I was hoping that somebody would help me to get into past exam papers on the UCC website. Anybody with valid passwords??? I would be highly grateful.

Erm if your a UCC student should you not have access already?

He/she doesn't actually say they are a student in UCC, just that they are trying to get exam papers, or whatever.

You will not get a password - or you should not - because the security implications for the university in terms of licences and copyright would be significant.

You should be aware as a Masters' student that information obtained illegally will not be valid research in your thesis. You need to approach your supervisor - presumably in Poland - and ask for an introduction to UCC.

Of course access to the UCC site does give spammers a wonderful opportunity to annoy a lot of people, and would quite likely get the university site shut down while it is sorted. Not popular.

Actually I'd say if you were a UCC student and you facilitated access and it was misused, el presidente would probably kick ya up the :eek:
