Hi all, brought the 07 Saab 9-3 vector sport to the local Saab dealer. Rattle in the rear wheel and it turned out to be the break pads. Anyway they replaced them at a cost of €160. €80 pads €60 labour €20 VAT.
Havent a notion about the costing of this kind of thing so i thought id pick ye're superior brains. I know Saab dealers and parts might be dearer than regular joe garage but have the pants just been pulled down?? If so I'll have to **** off to a new place in future.
    Thanks lads

Anywhere between 20% and 90% cheaper than a Saab dealer and a top bloke to boot ;)

I doubt if they only did one side  Price seems reasonable but it's a simple DIY job.

€80 for pads is high (imo) but they only come in pairs.
They should have replaced both sides for €60 labour. To be honest though, you might not have got that work done for much cheaper with an indy. They would have charged at least €40 for labour. (both sides though)

Last day, i visited my old friend from California. I told him i am having a hard time looking for saab parts store. since i need to replace my break pad. Do you know someone offering break pad replacement? My friend told me it was about $150. I am not sure if he is serious about that.
