I am sure you had more then five days to pay the bill. Have you just ignored the bill?
Why don't you contat them to let them know you'll have a problem paying it. They might let you organise a payment plan where by you can pay back part of it at a time? Its better then them getting involved legally to try and get paid?

I am not sure why you are posting?

    Is the bill correct?

If it is not correct then contact o2.

If you cannot afford to pay the bill and it is correct then that is not really an issue for boards.ie and there is little help that can be offered other than what has already been suggested to you and that is to approach them to agree a method of paying.

If you just ignore the bill then I am sure they will write to you a couple of times and then pass the bill to debt collectors.

So irrespective of what the overall position may be it is important to get in touch with them as soon as possible.

I think dub45 said it all. You need to find out from O2 why the bill is that high. My guess would be you went over the cap, or you used it outside the country (even Northern Ireland).

Not paying is not an option, you can't ignore this and hope it will go away, because it won't.

Put your hands up and offer them fifty euro, tell them you never asked for a a credit limit and can they now 0 your credit limit so it never happens again.

They will usually settle for half.

And their debt collectors are pretty spineless too. They won't take you to court either.

Offer them a token amount and then get some other service elsewhere.
