Games Britannia Part 3 - Joystick Generation

    Hello Guys,

    Just got around to watch the above TV doc about the British Gaming generations from the 60s to present day gaming, have any of ye seen it?

    It gives a really good insight into the first role playing board games in the 70's like Dungeons and Dragons which then evolved into the ZX Spectrum and the first classic game called "manic miner" (Which I have since played after watching this doc)

    The program also coves games like Elite, Wipeout, Tom Raider, Black n White and many more.

    Well worth a gander for anyone that hasnt seen it.

    Hey I saw that programme on the BBC a few months back it was really good. There was also an episode that was about british indie games of the 80's and 90's which was really cool

    I'm almost sure it was on BBC3, I watched it sometime during the Christmas holidays here

    I have Episodes 1 and 3 sadly there is 2 doesn't seem to have any seeds. Will have to watch these on the train this week.

    Yep, that was correct, it was on BBC3 a few months back.

    LoGiE, dont worry about not have part 2, as far as I can remember, part 3 was the best as it covered the games side of things.
