I'm heading to America around the same time, flying in newark and leaving out of l.a three weeks later, got my flights for around 800 with continental. But to be honest because it is late notice you probably won't get a better price than the one you have, especially considering the time you're going!

Have you checked flying out of Belfast? Used Belfast twice for Europe, very easy, except the drive back on the return leg is tiring.

By the way if the 722 is taxes and all that doesn't sound too bad. Everyone expects €50 flights now a days. Really 450/500 would be great value trans Atlantic, so high season with six weeks to go.....

Currently Delta is cheapest at €705 nonstop from DUB.
