Has anyone bought any hardware from videogamesplus before , they have the pspgo on sale for €160 and I was considering getting it, not sure if they ship hardware to the Eu though.

I haven't.. but if that doesn't include shipping, customs and VAT, it sounds like the price might get close to what's it over here.

If it turns out to be €160 then that would be an awesome deal. Especially considering the offer of 10 free games for it. But if you bought it from VGP which is based in Canada would that render you ineligible for the offer?

The problem with shipping a piece of hardware like that is that if customs open it you are going to get raped on tax duty. You can get away with it but I find it's 50:50 whether you do or not.

ShopTo.net have a very good offer at the moment as it also comes with a £20 PSN card. I think it works out at about €215. It's more expensive than VG+ I know but it would be worth your while to buy it from a European retailer to ensure that you get your 10 free games. I'm not sure however if ShopTo will ship to Ireland but you could try Amazon or eBay.

The 10 free games are totally worth it btw, some gems there:
    • Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines
    • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories
    • Gran Turismo
    • James Cameron’s AVATAR
    • LittleBigPlanet
    • MotorStorm Arctic Edge
    • Need for Speed SHIFT
    • Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice
    • 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa
    • WipEout Pure
