    Hi,
Want to upgrade my wheelset from an old set of Mavic open pros,
Probably need an all rounder, for club training spins, hills, sportives,
I would like somthing light but sturdy for everyday use,
    I weigh between 13.5 to 14 stone.

Have been looking online but am confused with so much to choose from!
will only go as far as 500 euro (credit crunched)
any advice from experience really appreciated.

    Hi

These are little over your budget but a bomb proof set of wheels.

Get open pro built to DA/Record (which ever you ride) with DT Aerolites. Such a wheelset will weigh less than wheelsets of twice the price, and be stronger too (provided the builder is good).

Thanks both for replys, the easons look good but are over budget, trying to stay under 500 euro as have other stuff to get (whats new).

Anyone have any experiece of Pro-lite Bracciano wheelset seem to have good reviews and a good price on cr? weight could be an issue though.

I have a set. I am very impressed so far-2000km.(ish). They are light and fast and have taken some pothole hits and remained perfectly true.Come with skewers and tapes also-which is nice.
Don't know about weight limits on them but should be as strong as any light race wheel I'd say and you are not hugely heavy.

    Chain reaction.
There are supply issues I'd say.
As soon as the shimano come in they sell out. I just watched out for 'em.
Bummer if you're in a rush.

I got a set of Pro-Lite Como's a few weeks back and if the Bracciano's are the step up from Como's they would be a fine damn purchase. I think Caroline has a set of Bracciano's.
Got mine from Ribble. I believe the same wheels are re-branded as quest so have a look there.

    Hi,
Thanks for replys, contacted Pro-Lite directly through their web site and have been told there should be no problem with weight.
I need the campy compatable set which are available on CR so I think i`me gonna take the plunge!

    Thanks for advice.
