    Hey all,
Thinking of taking a spin up around Howth on Sunday. Looking to spend a few hours in the area can any one recommend a couple of things to pass a few hours?

    Appreciate the help.
    Cheers.

    Walk along pier
Shop for fresh fish at fishmongers
Dine at fine restaurants, maybe just a coffee even
    Kids playground
Cliff walk further up on Howth Hill
    Pubs
Beshoffs -fresh local fish and chips al fresco on the green

+1 on Beshoffs al fresco's fish & chips!

Plus sometimes the seals are out in the harbour - great fun watching them!

I believe you can take a walk upto the lighthouse as well (perhaps we're talking the same walk T-Maxx?)

I heard there's a beachy spot on the other side as well.

Is the Farmers' Market still running on a Sunday by the pier?

Oh yeah, forgot all about the market!

If it's a nice day park the car in Sutton or Bayside and get the DART. On any half decent days half the country seems to decide to go to Howth. Aside from getting parking out there it takes ages to get through Sutton Cross, especially if you come up the coast road.

What restaurants are best in Howth - thinking of going out there tomorrow, would like to go somewhere that serves a good variety of food.
