Got dreaded letter from VEC

Received a "lovely" letter in the post today from my local VEC and as I am progressing from Level 5 to Level 6 I am now ineligible for the maintenance grant. Its official (rant alert) - I hate this bloody Govt. I hate Brian Cowen - he made this mess - wish he would just f**k off.

hey angeleyes, i know how u feel... they are a shower or ****e-bags! hope u dont mind me asking cos u seem to know what ur on about with the grants (and im lost) so was wondering if you know where i need to be applying, Im on social welfare now and get rent allowance, iv been accecpted onto a level 8 course in DIT,so do i apply for a higher education maintenance grant or the BETA,on or can i apply for both?? if you know please tell me!!
