    Hey guys,

Question for any Fiat 500 drivers... How does the car perform in the ice & snow?
Am looking at changing from a Mini Cooper which handles really well in the tricky weather... What with snow the last two years, I best take it into consideration :P

    Thanks!

They are both modern front wheel drive, well handling superminis so I'd say they handle pretty much the same way in snow.

But you shouldn't worry about snow really. The next time we'll have snow like that in Dublin you'll be well into your 70s, not driving a car anymore but instead using your free bus pass :)

Wouldn't it make more sense to buy a car for how it handles for the 363 odd days when we don't have snow. Last few years have been flukes, but if you believe the Green's we will be getting more.

I'd be more worried about how it handles on rain soaked roads, dodging potholes or everything you encounter on a daily basis.

If you're really worried about how a car will handle snow buy a set of Winter tyres and stick them on around November. Nearly every car will manage better in snow with winter tyres rather then the summer tyres we use.

It'd be like a teeny little integrale with no rattles.
