The 70s were a long time ago and while many film makers repeatedly try to capture the feel of 70s cinema most fail miserably. Fans of grindhouse cinema can finally rejoice, the long-lost Gone With the Pope, Duke Mitchell's follow-up to his fantastic Massacre Mafia Style was believed lost for years until nearly a decade after his death a copy, of the unfinished film was discovered.

The premise is fantastic, a bunch of crooks plan to kidnap the pope and ransom him back in exchange for a dollar from every catholic in the world. It's good sleazy fun and should be on DVD before the year is out.

The trailer is most definitely NSFW...
