bad reception

    im living in cavan started getting bad reception on my stations when it sunny and great recption when its dull and wet my son loses all his freeview channells as well is it possibly the ariel that is the problem help please:)

    Could you give us even a bit of info, like what aerials are in use, any amplifiers, any splits in the cable etc?

    Also, roughly what part of Cavan? You can get UK channels from two different transmitters depending on what part of Cavan you're in. And the Irish channels can come from 4 different transmitters depending where you are.

    If you're able to find out what frequencies/channels (e.g Channel 21 or 22 for Channel 4) each TV station is on your TV, it would be a great help.
