    Hi Guys,

    Have a 05 Ford Mondeo,

Was having trouble starting it for a few days, I come out of work and it won't start at all.

Tried it again today and electrics are going mental.

Would like to find out exactly whats up before I get it towed to a garage.

Anybody know of decent company doing mobile diagnostic tests?

    Thanks in advance.

First off, are you sure it's not just the battery?

    Describe 'trouble' and 'won't start'.

Tried it again today and electrics are going mental.

    Give more info.

Were you using a quality set of leads? It might be worth your while swapping in another battery and trying again.

    Bit of a development.

I tried the spare key and the car started on the button this morning.

I tried the main remote key and the fan comes on plus there is a ticking noise coming from under the bonnet sound like electrics. Not a dicky bird from the engine.

I then try the spare key and the same as above happens.

Maybe its something to do with the main key?

    Anybody had this before?
