Mel and I are selling our bikes from last year (hers is Medium, mine is Large). Both are in perfect working condition but with cable rub/marks as you would expect from being used. The naked carbon cleans up wonderfully though and the bikes look amazing :)

Both have had all bearings, bottom brackets replaced recently and front and rear shocks serviced. (Indeed, my one, the large, the last thing that will be done to it before I sell it is have them serviced).

There is a link to some pictures of them here: http://melaniespath.blogspot.com/2009/02/bike-porn.html and http://ryansherlock.blogspot.com/2009/05/2009-specialized-s-works-epic-race.html

Some minor changes on mine - S-Works carbon seatpost and Phenom saddle (recently put on) and a Syntace F109 stem. My bike comes with Olympic 355 wheels on American Classic hubs. Mel's with Rovals XC Controlle SLs.

My bike is €2,800 - Mel's €2,700. New tires will be put on before we hand them over. Full retail on the bikes is north of €6,000 - but they are sold out.

There has been lots of interest in them (before I ever advertised them) so catch me quick.

    Ryan

Sorry to drag up an old thread and I know its a long shot but did this bike ever sell as I know somebody who is after a high end mountain bike!

    Thanks.

    Hey,

Both bikes were sold pretty quickly. At some point (although not for a while yet), we will be selling the 2010 bikes.

I have a Giant Carbon XTC for sale soon - not nearly as bling as the Epics, but a lot cheaper.

Road bike per chance? Would make a matching pair...

Shut up brain - it *does* make sense...

I'll tell my friend to watch this space so. Thanks.

If it's built up, I wouldn't mind a test ride before taking it apart to judge size as I fear it may be a fraction big. Currently on a 56, that I thought was on the large size of correct.

I'll let you know - getting the SRM cranks serviced now and when it is all back together (and I'm back from hols), I'll pm you.

No hassle at all- I am in no rush whatsoever! This is very much a "next year" plan. I didn't mean the thread to go off on such a tangent.

    Enjoy the Holidays!
