Suit/Tie advice

    Howdi, looking for a recommendation on what colour shirt/tie to wear to a wedding this weekend. I have a grey pinstripe suit, not a really light grey but not as dark as charcoal either. gonna be with black shoes/belt if that makes a difference.

    Hopeless at this lark and have to go to town and get them this eve and havent a clue.

    Grey is a neutral colour so any shirt will work. Most outfitters offer a shirt and matched tie combo so you just have to pick out something that appeals to you colourwise. No need to panic. :)

    Bring the jacket with you so you can put the shirt against it for a better idea of the overall look.

    A pastel lavender shirt would look well with grey. Maybe a striped lavender and grey tie.
