EnGenius 3G Router

    Hi all,

    Has anyone here any experiance with using the EnGenius 3G Router device I just saw it advertised for 39.99 from irishwireless.eu seems to be good value.

    I have an 02 Hawei 220 USB dongle says it compatible so might give it a whirl..

    Well I went ahead and purchased this wireless router for my Huawei E270 02 3G dongle and it works a treat, set-up was striaght forward, instructions were excellent.

    I now have a wireless home network using my 02 3G USB dongle, have Laptop, Wii, XBOX and desktop connecting to it (not all at sametime mind you) but I live very close to 3G mast and get decent speeds.

    The company selling these is as it happens based in Shannon, I dropped by there & got the router yesterday now that was handy!

    All in all for 39.99 this is great value for anyone looking for a wireless router for their 3G (or ADSL) connection.

    Spec summary : 2 LAN ports :1 USB port (for 3G dongle) : 1 WAN Port : Has Wireless: Set-up was very easy.
    Has broad compatibility with other dongle manufacturers, although my model (E270) was not listed in the compatibale list it works just fine.

    For the price compared to other 3G routers it's great value.

    Hi dodohert,
    I am thinking about getting one of these routers. I also have O2 mobile BB. Is it still working well and are both the LAN and wireless connections performing? Can they be used at the same time?

    Yeah works as advertised, and yes can have LAN & wireless going at the same time

    Good stuff, think i will go ahead and get one. The price has gone up a little to €46 but still sounds like great value compared to the O2 router :D
