Sky+HD freezing when trying to access planner

    If anyone has come across this before, some help would be much appreciated as I'm close to tearing my hair out (which, considering I'm bald, would be no mean feat)

    This morning I came down to watch tv, and pressed the green button for the planner and the box froze. No buttons would work. However, the programme that was playing while i was in the guide continued on as normal. I couldn't get out of the guide, so i unplugged the box from the wall, waited a minute, tried again, and the same thing.

    After two or three goes I tried a planner rebuild and no joy, so I'm now thinking I may have to erase the hard disk?

    Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

    How old is the box? What make/model?

    Possibly the start of a PSU or harddisk failure.
